Here is a Healthy Treat for the kids and yourself that you don’t have to feel guilty eating. I always am looking for tasty treats, that keep me satisfied and give me energy. These Black Bean Brownies are amazing!
Many of us today work long hours and are always looking for that healthy snack. I have tried these Black Bean Brownies and I can honestly say they are amazing!
So many of us are eating an over abundance of sugar which causes our energy level to spike and then plummet. These brownies are sweetened with Majool Dates! I like to make my own treats that I can control the ingredients! These are great for that long walk on the trails, or perhaps on the movies set. Great for kids! Pack in lunches, your kids will love them.
30 minutes to prepare
Black bean Brownies
1 3/4 cup black beans drained
2 organic eggs
3 tblsp coconut oil
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
6 Medjool Dates (remove pits) or 1/2 cup organic palm sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
top with walnuts or pecans
preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix all ingredients together in a food processor and bake for about 25 minutes in well greased muffin cups, or pan until edges move away from pan,
Let cool for 30 minutes!
