Healthy Ways to Keep Energized and Stay Healthy

So have you ever wondered how some people just seem to have a lot of energy, and look great? Well at Carolyn’s Model and Talent we pride ourselves on our amazing healthy lunches. That is what keeps Carolyn and Staff going and feeling great!

Carolyn, being a four-time breast cancer survivor, believes in Healthy Eating and making smart choices.  Sometimes it is easy to just get some take out; however we love to make our favourite lunch and snacks right in the office!  How do we do that you ask?

We purchased a NutriBullet (the heavy duty one) and everyday we make healthy and tasty shakes.   Our healthy shakes keeps all of us alert and feeling energized; there is no afternoon slump. We all feel great!  Here are some helpful ideas on how we make our healthy shakes!

Take the large container of the NutriBullet, and fill it up with one cup of water and 1 cup of your favourite juice, or you can use ice.  We add about   1 – 2 cups of organic spinach, 1 cup of pineapple, or blueberries, some mango, 8 Almonds, a teaspoon of Maple Syrup to give that added sweetness that we all crave at times, and about 1 cup of frozen banana (these are bananas we cut up at home once they get pretty ripe and put them in a freezer bag and freeze). Turn the NutriBullet on, and it blends everything automatically and shuts off when done, pretty easy!

Pour into a huge cup and enjoy at our desks. Amazing, tasty and healthy!  Try it!  If you have ideas for healthy shakes let us know, we love to try different shake ideas!
